The Historic Label 1968 is produced from Sangiovese grapes to which we add small percentages of other red grapes cultivated in our vineyards in San Gimignano: the result is a smooth, easy drinking wine that has delighted our customers since 1968.
A fine red Chianti Colli Senesi
The experience and care employed at the winery have made it a reference point in the area; this red is a clear example of the quality of the work done in the vineyards and cellars.
The predominance of the Sangiovese characterizes our Historic Label 1968 Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG, resulting in a harmonious wine, with a dark forest berry flavor, velvety, and
a pleasent structure, making it a very easy wine to pair with tuscan food.
The qualities of the Chianti of the Colli Senesi DOCG
The Historic Label 1968 is a wine produced in San Gimignano from Casale Falchini and is an excellent example of Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG: it is characterized by its bright ruby red color, its rich taste of berries, that feels warm, intense, dry and velvety.
This set of features has made this particular red wine one of the glories of our winery.
