Titolato Colombaia

FROM SANGIOVESE AND CANAIOLO

From the Colombaia property of the same name, Titolato Colombaia is a Chianti delle Colline Senesi made from a blend of Sangiovese (90%) and a small amount of Canaiolo and other red grapes. After a short period in oak barrels, it is aged further in the bottle for a few months. It is a well-balanced, fruity wine with good structured.

Production area: Colombaia vineyards, San Gimignano, Siena

Blend: 90% Sangiovese and other red grapes.

Vinification: Traditional fermentation with frequent pumping over in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The wine is then placed in French oak barrels for 3 or 4 months before being bottled.

Tanks for ageing: aged in French oak barrels.

Alcohol Content: 13.0%

Ageing: It can be aged in bottles for more than three years

Serving temperature: 18° C - we recommend decanting before serving

Organoleptic characteristics of the wine: Deep ruby red in colour. Aroma with a distinct hint of blackberry and red berry fruits. Warm, intense, dry and velvety flavour.

It goes well with: savoury starters; pasta with meat and mushroom sauces; game; roasted white and red meat, in sauce; cheeses.
