Ab Vinea Doni, from the Latin "Doni dal vigna", comes from a hand-picked selection collected in the vineyards of San Gimignano:

Fermentation and aging take place in small 225l French oak barrels for approximately 4 or 5 months; once bottled,
Ab Vinea Doni completes its refinement for another 4 months before leaving the Casale Falchini cellar.
The character of the wine is emphasized by the long contact with oak wood, enhancing its fragrance and softness;
it is an elegant and long-lived wine.

The Ab Vinea Doni wine from Casale Falchini keeps well in the bottle, so it can also be served 5 years after the harvest.
The wine, obtained from Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG and from small doses of Chardonnay, has a deep and bright yellow straw color; the aroma is fine, with notes of vanilla, tropical fruit and sweet spices; the taste is dry and soft, with hints of acacia and almond honey.
Serve at a temperature of 10 ° C. The wine partners well with seafood or land appetizers, risottos and first courses with shellfish or noble fish, grilled meats and fresh cheeses.
