By hand picking the Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG grapes from the Vigna a Solatìo in Casale San GImignano, this Falchini wine is made up of a careful selection of the best grapes, fermented and aged in small 225l oak barrels for approximately 8 to 10 months.

Once bottled, the Vernaccia di San Gimignano Vigna di Solatìo Riserva completes its refinement for a minimum of 6 to 8 months before leaving the cellar.

Vigna a Solatìo Riserva

The Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG Vigna a Solatìo Riserva produced by Falchini is a very structure wine that can age well in the bottle for a least 5 to 8 years from the vintage.

The color is a straw yellow with golden yellow highlights that get warmer with aging. The aroma is slightly aromatic, with hints of light spices, saffron, tropical fruits, peaches, and yellow apples, while the taste is intense, dry, fruity, with a clean and soft finish.

Served at 8-10 ° C, it is ideal to accompany Tuscan appetizers, saffron-based first and second courses, white meats, fish or shellfish, and alone it is also an excellent aperitif.
