Savor the Vigna a Solatìo
Produced from grapes of Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG grown in the Vigna a Solatìo vineyard, it is a fresh and elegant expression of this historic Tuscan white grape. It is best appreciated young, when its freshness and fruit character are at their most vibrant, although careful bottle aging for two to three years can add further complexity while preserving its distinctive character.
In the glass, it shows a bright straw-yellow color, followed by a delicate bouquet of green apple and jasmine flowers. On the palate, it is fresh, balanced and pleasantly fruity, with a graceful, elegant character and a clean, refreshing finish. We recommend serving it at 8–10°C (46–50°F) to fully appreciate its freshness and aromatic profile.
Its versatility makes the Vigna a Solatìo an excellent partner for a wide range of dishes. It pairs particularly well with aperitifs, Tuscan appetizers, first courses, soups, fish, shellfish and white meats, as well as more substantial preparations with exotic spices such as saffron. Its freshness and balance also make it an enjoyable choice simply served as an aperitif.
